On the theme of ‘Make do and Mend’ here is another tip that I use regularly for repairing knitting with needle felting (we have also had some clothes moths which have cause me to do more needle felting this year!)

In this video I show you how to use a clover felting needle, a normal felting needle and some roving to fix a hole in the thumb area of my beloved hand warmers.

Materials used in this video:

My Hobby Single Felting Needles
My Hobby Clover Felting Needle
Wool Tops (roving)
Sponge
Washing Up Sponge (for thumb)

You’re welcome! The best thing about the wool roving is that you can buy it in practically any colour so you can either match or contrast your hand warmers. Let me see some pics when you have had a go I’d love to know how you get on 🙂
